Hull Material - Steel. Bottom of keel 1/2". Sides of keel 1/4". Hull 3/16". Deck 9/64". Sandblasted to white metal and first painted in June 1995 with Devoe inorganic zinc primer, then Devoe Bar Rust 235 epoxy base. The bottom was freshly painted in July 2016 with two coats of 3M EA9 two-part epoxy, then covered with six coats of AMC Coppercoat (first applied in September 2008, and then again in July 2016). Anti-fouling is enhanced with Clean-a-Boat ultrasonic antifouling (four 50W transducers, consumes approximately 22Ahr/24 hours). Topsides are finished with Jotun Hardtop AS two-part polyurethane (Jade Mist Green). The deck and cabin tops are finished with Carboline two-part white polyurethane (February/March 2016).

Auxiliary – Volvo TMD 31B, 100 H.P. turbo. Augmented with a Wesmar 8 HP 12V electrical bowthruster. Engine room is fed with 150 cu ft passive intake, and a separate 150 cu ft exhaust blower.
Electrical - marine Genset – ONAN 6KW, SOLAR 560W: quantity 4-75W Shell solar panels, 2-130W Kyocera solar panels, Blue Sky Solar Boost 2512iX MPPT solar charge controllers (two), Rutland 913 Wind Generator, Spreco Silent Wind Generator, 200A high output alternator in addition to the Volvo factory installed 60A alternator. Hamilton-Ferris towed water driven generator WM-200. Magnum Energy Inverter/Charger MS2800W and ARC-50.
Batteries - 12V engine starting, 12V genset starting, 12V AGM 8D bow (for bowthruster and windlass), House Bank: 3rd generation 2 X 190Ahr Lithionics Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries (380Ahr). (First generation was 14 6V Golf Cart batteries giving 1640 Ahr at 12V. Second generation was 6 6V Floor Sweeper batteries (AGM) giving 900 Ahr).
Water tanks (2) – approximately 200 gallons capacity. One tank is exclusively used for water-maker water, and the other for rainwater and shore water. While dockside, we connect the shore water directly to the water lines and run off shore water. Even if the shore water is a bit suspect, since our drinking water always passes through the SeaGull filter, we have no concerns.

Winches – all manual, Andersen stainless steel self-tailers, two 68ST (jib), two 52ST (staysail), one 52ST (mainsheet), two 52ST (halyard winches mounted on the mast), one 40ST (to control the Dutchman boom brake), and one 18ST mounted under the boom (mainsail furliing and boom outhaul).
Instruments - Raytheon (now RayMarine) ST60 series, including depth, wind, speed, autopilot (ST 7000+) and radar. EM-Trak B100 Class B AIS Transceiver. ICOM MC-802 SSB/HAM radio with DSC and Pactor III modem. ICOM IC-M504 VHF Radio with DSC. Spare VHF Standard Horizon Intrepid+. Yeoman plotter. Garmin GPSMAP 420 (world-wide basemap) (this provides the alternate NMEA 0183 GPS signal). Electronic charting (IslandTime 12V mini PC built-in) integrating GPS (several), AIS, Open CPN PC chart plotter, vector and rastor based digital charts - many alternatives and redundancies through laptops. We also use an Apple iPad Generation 2 (with a GPS card built-in to the cell phone receiver, that gives us precise GPS offshore even when not in range of cell phone towers) and Navionics charts (very good price).
Steering - Wheel over hydraulic (not electrically powered), Hynautic H-41 helm pump,
Octopus Heavy-Duty Hydraulic Continuous Running Pumpset operated by a RayMarine ST 7000+ autopilot.
Creature Comforts - Lazy Boy double loveseat recliner, Waeco 120V/12V freezer (115 litres, 4.3 cu ft), Top-Loading refrigeration (209 Litres) Isotherm 2017 Danfoss BD50 and Evaporator Platde, 26" multi-system TV with multi-system VCR and zone-free DVD. Bose Lifestyle 25 surround sound, with speakers in the cockpit and aft cabin. Pressurized hot (6 gallon tank plumbed inline with the engine coolant) and cold water with manual pump backup. Volvo Ardic forced air diesel furnace. Heater Craft 501-H 3 speed heater (plumbed with the engine coolant). Maytag full size washer. Panasonic convection microwave oven (1000W). 220V electric JennAir Range. Marine SS BBQ with two 25 lb fiberglass tank. Volvo Ardic diesel furnace. Heads - LAVAC Zenith (2) with manual and electric pumps. I've discovered that the "Zenith" was produced in very limited quantities by the Royal Dalton China company in England. North Carolina manufactured hard bimini, Two folding bicycles. Removable hard (steel) dodger / dog-house with safety/tinted glass windows (one opens forward).
Sports - SCUBA diving equipment and 6 tanks to fit several divers. Large, above water swim platform attached to the transom.
Safety - fire extinguishers (3), Nighthawk CO Detector, Kidde wireless smoke detectors (2), Yachtsman 30C Marine Halon 1301 automatic fire extinguisher in engine room space.
Ventilation - Plenty with 23 hatches/portlights (Goit). 6 - 4" dorade boxes. 4 - 4" NICRO day/night solar vents.
Ground Tackle - anchors (40kg/88 lb Rocna, 60 lb plows, 75 lb danforth, 66 lb SS Bruce), two lengths 250' 3/8" galvanized ACCO ISO Hi-Test G4 chain.
